Valentine’s Dinner

This Valentine’s Day, treat your loved ones to a unique interactive event that promises both delicious food and heartfelt memories. For a one-of-a-kind experience, guests can purchase tickets to enjoy a family tradition that began after the vice president of Brazil’s personal pilot had our family over for a “raclette dinner”. Months were spent trying to procure the special grill required, so that we could share the delightful culinary experience with more friends and family. Raclette originated in the Swiss Alps as a medieval peasant dish. Swiss shepherds and farmers would melt cheese over an open fire, scraping the molten layer onto bread or potatoes, leading to the name derived from the French racler ("to scrape").  Over the years our family has collected a variety of raclette tabletop grills, and now we’d like to share the experience with you! Grill potatoes, filets and a variety of vegetables on a hot stone while melting raclette cheese in coupelles beneath the stone. Mix and match meats and veggies with hearty Sola bread and pour the melted cheese on top. It’s the perfect setting for couples + families alike to celebrate love and connection.  Our vision for the evening is to share what we love most: an intimate gathering with friends and family to share simple and delicious faire.  As the owners of Sola we would love to connect even more with our patrons and so we will be joining in serving you during the whole meal, start to finish. Menu:


Raclette:

Filet mignon, raclette cheese and a variety of vegetables and smoked meats alongside Sola sourdough bread.

Salad:

Massaged kale, roasted beets, quinoa, feta, toasted walnuts tossed is a white balsamic vinaigrette.


Dessert Choice:

Creme Brûlée: Ultra rich, silky, smooth custard made with Madagascar vanilla beans and topped with a thin pane of crunchy caramelized sugar.

Dark Chocolate Mousse: Velvety smooth dark chocolate mousse topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
